Historically, age verification was done through database matching and that left clients with a problem of not going through that one step of leaving your name, address, and date-of-birth. In the digital age today, there is no best way to go about verifying an agent, so Veratad built a multi-layered approach.

Veratad went out into the marketplace and built a multi-layered approach that would help clients be able to deliver multiple services through one integration. While putting together a number of different services like ID document verification, two-factor authentication, selfie matching, and facial biometrics, we also had to make sure that it was user-friendly and flowed quickly.

There are certain regulations in industries that have been predefined, and a lot of our clients have regulations they need to be keeping up to date with. We see a lot of traction with the ID upload verification and selfie matching in the biometric side, specifically because that’s what’s done oftentimes in person.
